They came for gold (always a safe bet with Spanish conquistadors) but instead they have found the bones of long-dead giants that once roamed the land. Awesome painting, I like the way this one tells a story to the viewer!
That's a skeleton? The thought of what size must have had the creature it belonged ... just is scary. The atmosphere is loaded with suspense, the colors are more than adequate for this. It's amazing!!! n..n
This picture is amazing, it belongs it art museums. The conquistadors in the corner make me think that they did discover something back in the 1500's. Or maybe the picture could mean something else! Very fascinating!
This is a very nice picture. I love the darker tones to the color scheme with the hints of blue and pinkish purple in the background. I also like how the one guy stands out, lending your eyes to see the others crawling in on the corner.
That skull is also a piece of work. Fantastic job on details.
My favorite part is the tree growing out of the nostril.
That was *very* nice. The eye is completely absorbed by the jowl itself...trying to grok what it is and why it's warped and so on. The scale is not apparent at all...until the eye tracks to the full frame. Very well done. Thank you!
Holy epic-ally magnificent! The Landscape is stunning and The Jowl looks incredible! The architecture, warriors, armor, teeth, bones, plant life, poses, spears, water, composition, concept, uniqueness, colors, lighting, style, and other details are also wonderful! Amazingly radical work!
