The Tribe Kids by Wildweasel339 The Tribe Kids by Wildweasel339
The slim girl often won our foot races,
She would always look back just to see our faces.

Our race this morning was near complete,
when the water began to churn beneath our feet.

She mistook our warning cries for cheers,
A tragedy which left us all in tears.

Impressive storytelling. The poem fits the picture brilliantly and gives the painting more dept. I feel sorry for that girl.

Lane - absolutely amazing! Love everything about this. Such an original piece and the accompanying poem is just brilliant (sad, but brilliant). Well done. How long does something like this take you? Peace.

My first thought is... in a world where creatures like that exist, what in the majestic fuck are they doing within 100 square light years of the water!?
